Instructional Designer / Producer / Facilitator / Aspiring Voiceover Artist

I began my work-life as a computer programmer many many years ago. I mention this because you need to know that technology does not scare me in the least. I can figure out any instructional design, recording, or online training software with a bit of time and an internet search or two!

I am also a mom to two active teenagers. This is important to note because I can only work part-time as I am a chauffer and personal assistant for the rest of the time.

Virtual Producing

and

Facilitation

I have worked virtually for almost three decades, and I have been training virtually for over 15 years.

I prefer producing to facilitation, but I can readily do both.

I am proficient in:

  • Zoom

  • Adobe Connect

I have used, but I would not say I was proficient in:

  • MS Teams

  • WebEx Training Center

  • WebEx Meeting Center

  • others no one remembers any more!

Instructional Design

and

Voiceover

I became an instructional designer through a strange path. I was a programmer, then a systems engineer, then an instructional designer and a trainer. Not only was I able to install and configure software, but I was also able to explain it in terms the customers understood.

Voiceover came to be because I am able to articulate difficult words and speak clearly and distinctly. Once I discovered “Fox in Socks” as practice for this, I was unstoppable!
